New goals and achievements marked this summer with paddlers from Na Leo O Ke Kai joining the worldwide push to compete with the best of the best for the Catalina 9-man Challenge – the last race of the Southern California Outrigger Racing Association’s  race circuit, the Pailolo Challenge – 26 miles from Maui to Molokai, and the 41-mile Na Wahine O Ke Kai. One wahine even came home with a medal, as participant with the New Hope crew in Pailolo. Next up: the Molokai Hoe!
